Video editing software and hardware was in place. First step was to go through and digitalize the original VHS cassettes from the camp. 12 hours of raw original material was soon cut down to 5,5 hours on DV cassettes. This was the first footage selection.

The skate film festival approached and it began to be very clear that we would not be able to get the film ready for it. To not let John be empty-handed a trailer was quickly put together for him that was later shown at the film festival. The idea for doing the film was now gone but we hade been awakened from our skate sleep and we realized that this was not going to stop here. This was the occasion to finally document a part of the Swedish skate history that we knew very well. It was our duty to take this to the end and we knew that no one would be able to do it better than ourselves.
