Vacation. It has been a very hot summer in Europe so far. Luckily one week of vacation was in Biarritz. Got some shots at the Biarritz surf festival hosting the World championships in longboarding. Need I say we are talking about surfing here? Made a small all film about that too.

Came in contact with Mark Evans. He stumbled in on our site and was stoked. This Englishman was at the camp in 1983 with Billy Ruff, Neil Blender and Rodney Mullen. He has been kind enough to share some of his pictures/memories with skateboardmemories.com. Mark is one of those skaters that got so influenced by the summer camp that he finally ended up with a Swedish girlfriend. They have now been happily married in Stockholm since way back. Isn’t that a good story for your grand children?
